Brooks and James must be better than Johnson and Harris ,there must be a reason they didn’t play
Wilson has been missed
But tonight was terrible ,completely nullified as an attack , why not put Moore on earlier and go long ,instead of the pointless faffing about at the back and giving away a penalty ,trying to be clever, instead of just putting his boot through it just put the tin hat on it
Yes we lack quality but at least make it hard for the opposition |

Doesn’t even play for his club side
Every time Denmark have the ball they have an unmarked player to pass to 85 min gone Wales were playing the ball across in front their own box ,back and forth, going nowhere because of the tight Danish marking
Johnson again didn’t look good enough and scratching my head why Harris went on ,some of Bellamy’s subs are baffling
Only one team looked like winning |

Denmark marking tighter than flypaper Wales giving them too much time and space ,it was only a matter of time
Denmark have just been too good defensively and Wales not good enough in attack
But Why didn’t Ward just welly it upfield instead of trying to be clever |

Why are we standing so far off the Danish widemen ,inviting them to run in behind and cross the ball
Making it was for them , it’s going to cost us unless we tighten up |

Agreed ,what does he do
Why he was selected ,let alone stayed on the pitch for an hour is beyond me me , I can’t see what he brings to the team
He had 1 good game against North Macedonia as far as I’ve seen
And as you say ,has had millions spent on him
I must be missing something |

It looked like the boy gave Tymon a push in the back and then flopped over like a dying fly and the ref bought it
It might not have been pretty but you can only play what’s in front of you and they didn’t make it pretty or easy
To win a game like that is a big statement, we have lost games like that in the past and it shows the work Vitor and the squad put in to prepare and play awkward opponents |

I think that’s not such a bizarre call
Ronald is pretty good defensively and not afraid to tackle or get stuck in, and his commitment isn’t in question |

And look at the amount of money promoted teams fork out on players and wages when they go up it puts serious pressure on them if they come straight back down , look at Luton |

Last season they were head and shoulders the best team in the championship,Hull were promoted via playoffs , look at the league positions now ,how many seasons have we seen championship champions struggle in the prem ,while playoff Wnners finish higher,it’s uncanny |

We do leave gaps out wide but are not the only team to do it ,it seems to be the modern way of playing,it’s just frustrating to see
But if you play more attacking football you’ll score more goals than the opposition and that’s how you win games so I suppose that’s Matos’ thinking
With Lissah and Welsh in the middle we seem to cover those wide breaks better as they’re more mobile and quicker |

Absolutely disgraceful for that to happen
He gives 100% and deserves respect |

Also it’s great to have the option of playing them together later in some games
We’re spoiled for choice and quality with this squad
The squad is filled with players capable of scoring which is outstanding
I can’t wait for Widell to get his first goal though , if ever a player deserves one it’s him |

Your last sentence sums Key and Tymon up perfectly , neither defend very well, don’t mark their opponents tight enough and don’t stop crosses but both are good going forward
They are good wingbacks but we play a system that needs fullbacks , who have to defend and the space and time we give opposition widemen will cost us as the season progresses ,unless we get them to do the defensive work properly |

A good manager picks his best team for performance ,if he wants a successful season ,not stubbornly picking his favourite players regardless .We’ve seen too much of that in the past with Cullen
Lissah and Welsh are by far our best CB pairing, quick and good with the ball
I know FB is a weak area area for us defensively but if we get Key and Tymon closer to their wingers ,it will stop the ball being played to them in the first place which would be a big plus
We have to be sharper today and Please ,stop trying to walk the ball in and have more shots ,that’s how you win games |

Coventry’s squad last season didn’t look any better than ours on paper , Lampard just found a way of playing that suited his squad and the division
Our squad this season is probably our strongest for a long while
If Matos can find a way to get the best out of it ,then we’re looking good |
