4-4-2 is it time to try it?
at 14:05 15 Dec 2025

Moore is a good player at this level,no doubt but he’s made of glass, doesn’t like the physical stuff as it usually leads to him missing half a dozen games,we need to get into him from the start ,he won’t like it and that’s good for us

I seem to remember Idah playing on the left as a second striker with Norwich

Whatever directives the EFL have given referees this season has created total confusion , I know we don’t want free kicks given if somebody brushes a player’s sleeve but some of the challenges we’ve had on our players that have gone unpunished lately is beyond belief , the Derby game particularly
The last few games the refs we’ve had have been deplorable, does anyone assess not these incompetents anymore

I think we caused Stoke plenty of problems yesterday , more than they were expecting us to
The last 3 games have shown a clear change in play due to Vitor’s influence, hopefully this will get even better with his coaching staff coming in
Eom has played well lately, one of our best performers,he’s not the only one who gets pushed off the ball and he’s made a couple of good tackles too
We need to work on the physical side but it’s great to see us getting forward quicker and creating chances under Vitor after what we had before

It’s uncanny how the opposition get so much luck with bounces and deflections falling to them , it happens every game , yet we have to work for everything
Our luck has to change , we deserved at least a point yesterday

Burgess and Key errors hand Stoke City the points
at 19:39 13 Dec 2025

The thing is if Key was injured we’d have to use someone else , so just replace him
Even playing Ishe there would be an improvement or even one of the youngsters because they couldn’t be worse
Doing nothing would be irresponsible as it’s costing us dearly

The energy levels are up visibly but we need to have physicality with it, a few of our players are out muscled and give the ball away far too much, time and again and need to stand up for themselves more
I think key should be left out of squads after today and we desperately need to get a right back in January
Casey could start more and Widell should start every game going forward
We did keep going until the end of the game which was good to see but it’s also unbelievable how every bounce ,second ball and deflection seems to fall to the opposition ,we get no luck at all ,surely it has to change
You can see the change Matos has made to the way we play already and his coaches coming in can only be a positive

I’ve never hated any Swans players ever …..and I don’t hate Key , he’s just not good enough and just makes us a lot more vulnerable when he plays
He shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad

He can’t cross when in space either ,everything he does turns to back , his confidence is shot

Key knew he was supposed to be right back, he’s just not up to the job,had no idea where Thomas was and he’s the one he should be marking and just drifted into the middle and left the back post uncovered

Routledge and Dyer were masters at tracking back covering the fullbacks , great readers of the game

I see what you’re saying,my point is we can’t keep letting it happen because sooner or later someone will take advantage of it and hurt us
Better If we don’t give them the space in the first place

Murphy did have loads of space on Wednesday, particularly first half , it was right in front of of me ,particularly when Galbraith went forward and the ball was turned over, a bloke just below me was going mad over it , our central defenders did well but we can’t keep allowing teams space like that

We were still leaving the wide players have too much time and space against Portsmouth and were lucky Murphy didn’t hurt us more , against Stoke we have to be tighter and more alert,we can’t keep doing it

People around us were saying Ronald looked knackered and was puffing and blowing after 1/4 of an hour , but he did manage to see the game out

He showed more strength last night ,notably winning a ball in the second half on the opposite side of the pitch for him , he is improving this side of his game
