![]() Sunday, 11th Nov 2012 09:28 With sections of the fans on his back during and after yesterday's defeat against Watford, phone-ins and message boards in meltdown, are Neil Warnock's days at Leeds numbered? Warnock's decision to take off Paul Green post the Jason Pearce sending off was greeted by a round of booing from inside the ground. El Hadji Diouf also made way for Michael Brown at half-time and top scorer Luciano Becchio was not even used. The old chestnut about Warnock "losing the dressing room" is doing the rounds. According to my second eldest, a Yorkshire Radio caller said Warnock should leave now and take his Sheffield United rejects with him. Message boards will no doubt be filling up with a growing number of fans who have lost faith in Warnock. I am not one of them. I'd imagine that trying to manage Leeds at the moment is like pissing in the wind. We are a broken club ailing, in desperate need of new direction off the pitch. The rot has well and truly set in. Whilst some of Warnock's decisions have baffled me, such as sending Poleon to Bury and signing Ryan Hall, replacing Diouf with Brown and if Jamie Ashdown does not start against Millwall after Paddy Kenny never got as much as a glove to any of those shots yesterday, however we still have to keep faith in the man who has delivered seven promotions so far. It's a tall order but we have to hope that the funds will materialise to enable Warnock to bring in some much needed quality in January. I cannot see Bates sacking him and being liable for yet another compensation severence package on his watch. After yesterday's performance and his general demeanour during the past few weeks, would it be that much of a shock of Warnock actually walked before the end of November?
