![]() Friday, 8th Feb 2013 08:34 by Michah Hall So the Football League, always one of my favourite football governing bodies, have stood up to the pressure. It's Trust or Bust. Go convert your pledge And happily, there will be no court case over the valuation of Fratton Park. How do we know this? Mr Chainrai said so. In the South China Morning Post he said not so long ago: "I still have a debenture over the club as security on the club's full assets, so one way or another I'm going to get my money back," he said. Well, he is now suing Antonov for the full sum of £18m plus interest in the Commercial Court. Antonov has plenty of money knocking around - frozen by the courts and sought by the court and that's a lot more than we've got. He went on to say: "No matter what people may say, I've always had the club's best interests at heart. I just want everything to be resolved fairly." Well, as it's Trust or Bust, and he so kindly has our interest at heart, he can take the money on offer without racking up more fees on a court case. After all, how can trying to win a case that will see us immediately liquidated be compatible with that statement? Many times he has spoken of his emotional attachment to the club, his love for it and how he only wants the best for us. It would be heartbreaking if we were to find that he didn't really mean it and was prepared to see us liquidated. Time for Mr Chainrai to keep a promise and heed my well worn advice: take the money and go. It's the best deal you are going to get.
