Lots of green shoots - such a young group but they had a crack. Seems we might have some real injry concerns for Watford though - expect at least 4 experienced first teamers to have played tonight. Not even on bench as late game fall backs. Lets see....

The addition of just 4 first team players to the spine of that team in the second half would have seen us through to the next round. Surely we could have managed that, despite our now familiar abysmal injury list. The removal of Burrell alone, left us completely toothless and without any outlet up front.

A mistake to leave such an inexperienced young side like that to fend for themselves. A few of them look absolutely miles away from being ready and contributed next to nothing and got toasted. Some actually looked quite demoralised by it all.

Sorry, but that was the wrong call and we are out of a cup competition we should still be in.
