How embarrassing 18:53 - Apr 18 with 1685 views | GRIM | Players that we loan out cannot get into Championship sides. Both Adam Armstrong & Bereton Diaz are named as substitutes today. That just about sums up how poor our squad is this season.
How embarrassing on 20:02 - Apr 18 with 1565 views | Southamptonfan | Totally agree. They can't even get in a championship team, these players. And to think Bereton Diaz was bought to help us in the PL. He's probably average in the championship but not the PL. Sport Republic really are absolute idiots. [Post edited 18 Apr 20:30]

How embarrassing on 13:57 - Apr 22 with 884 views | TimSaint | BBD started for Sheff Utd last night, had 1 chance that he blazed over and was subbed on 60 mins. A Arm now hasn't started WBA's last 3. Off the bench yesterday and scored within 7 mins. Not enough though, as they lost 3-1 and won't be making the play-offs - so as a result Mowbray was sacked. Will be interesting to see what happens to him in the last 2 games, now the manager that signed him has departed.

We saved a fair chunk of money on their salaries, as it appears they wouldn't have done much for us since January. That said, Armstrong and Brereton were both strikers I felt could be big players for us next season if we kept them. And that was in the expectation that we would sell Onuachu. So we may have to review our striking options.

Saw an article yesterday that said Saints had terminated contract talks with Tall Paul so if AA and BBD don’t come back then a review is an absolute priority. If Leeds seriously upgrade their forward options after promotion we could do a lot worse than try for Piroe who may become surplus to requirements. In a separate article I see Bazunu has picked up another injury at his loan club. Fingers crossed we look for an upgrade anyway but this might just be the nudge Spors needs to draw up a shortlist if we can’t rely on Bazunu to be fit - not that we can when his is fit as the GK stats only to readily confirm!

I know AA scored for fun last season in Championship & scored the all important goal that got us promoted BUT I personally would prefer it if he moved on permanently. I'd like to see us sign a couple of quick clinical strikers, obviously those players are few & far between. But we've got a better chance of signing players next season than we had whilst struggling at the bottom of Premier Lge. We will be seen as a big club in Championship instead of a joke in the Premier Lge. As for Brereton Diaz, get shot of him, he will not be difficult to replace, possibly give an Academy player a chance. A lot depends on what happens to Tyler Dibling & Cameron Archer. I don't mention Ross Stewart because I can't see him ever being fit or strong enough to play regularly. But if history repeats itself then SR will make an absolute hash of the transfers in & out.
