Graham Lovett played 3 games on loan from West Brom in 1971/72 season.
Aged just 24 he had broken into the Throstles (as they were nicknamed then, none of this Baggies stuff) first team and played in the 1966 League cup final win and 1968 FA Cup final win.
He was an unlucky player though, he had two car accidents, neither his fault and the second one effectively finished his career.
He played just the 3 games , the first a 2-1 win over Leeds at the Dell, the second didn't go quite so well and 8-0 defeat at Everton with the 3rd and last being a 5-2 home defeat to Manchester United.
He returned to Albion who let him leave on a free transfer and he played non league football for a while, he sadly died in 2018 |  |
