Why is it an insult? Do you know why they wear it? If you did you wouldn't stoop to perches level.
So wearing an Argentinian coloured shirt is to get Patagonians interested in them is it? I remember the chants of ‘Argentina’ down the Vetch in the 80s. Made me sick to the core so that’s why I find it insulting.

It was regular that the North Bank on mass would be chanting Argentina, Argentina in the 80s, I remember those days well.
Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Yep All because of England Again Sir Galahad Thosedicks wouldn’t place Argentina on any map of the world

Patagonia was formed from the settlers from Bala, just 30 miles from Wrexham. Interestingly, they left in 1865, just a couple of months after Wrexham FC were formed, so maybe it was to get away from their boring football??? The shirt also features the Welsh dragon interwoven on the blue stripes, to represent the original dragon on the Patagonia flag, being the two blue lines top and bottom with the elongated dragon on the middle. There's a bit more to the shirt than people realise.

Well us welsh dont, it isnt about Argentina, its about the welsh who emigrated to a part of Argentina, if wrecsam want to have a replica of the Argentina rugby shirt as their 3rd shirt then its upto them, its the memory of the welsh patagonians that matter.

They didn’t like the old South Africa flag because of the small UJ on it

That’s true.
And it’s up to me if I find it insulting or not!
Let’s leave it there.
Edward doesn’t do debate so you ll be ok It is of course insulting mainly as that flag and those colours were and are proudly worn by Argentinians who killed Welsh and British lads but that doesn’t matter to some who prefer to chant the country’s name just because they beat England Patagonia , a god forsaken wasteland that Gogs went and farmed hundreds of years ago They spoke Welsh
Those chants turned the stomachs of many and no wonder many walked away for ever

Argies still pine for the Malvinas
Precisely this R. I’m not looking for an argument on here but I am sensitive to the ‘Argentina’ chant and wearing colours of a country responsible for the deaths of many a Brit. There was somebody on here whose avatar was Maradonna in an Argentinian shirt!!😡
