And the question for those wondering if Hoos should be retained is 'would you hire today someone who hired someone with Nourry's CV?' |

Agree with you, Ned. At least on a general point.
Can't comment on EDB except to say that - like so many others - he had the technical skills required to play at a high level. Or, to put it another way, plenty less technically skilled than him have made it.
He got quite a few chances here, and quite a few chances elsewhere.
I'm not sure what's holding him back, but it doesn't have to be our fault neccessarily.
But on your general point, I completely agree.
In most cases - barring abuse or malpractice - a player should take responsibility for his own career, just as he should for his own life outside of football. |

Ya, I get that Rosie.
Hamer wasn't with us of course. He only came in mid-season when Walsh got injured, and I think as an emergency free transfer he's done ok. |

Nardi should have been sold or loaned in Summer 2025, being honest. He's just not suited to our division. I have no idea how anyone thought he was.
Two new Championship keepers should have been a priority. Championship keepers.
Walsh out on loan.
Cooper out on loan.
Salamon out on loan (maybe).
Re-assess in Summer 2026, hopefully sell one of the 2025 purchases, and bring in one of the home-grown lads returning from loan in his place. |

I'm with you, by the way. I think he's doing as well as almost anyone could in the circumstances. There are bigger problems that have to be addressed first. |
