A great day out, the annual Xmas Fancy Dress trip.
Tilson was the one who got most of the rave reviews afterwards, but both looked right at home.

I wouldn't want to argue with my old boss, Dave, but I'm not sure that it stacks that QPR only wanted two players from the merger.
Gregory sold the club to Bullstrode knowing that the deal was dependent on a merger, so he wanted the money.
Bullstrode, a property developer, wanted the merger and to sell Craven Cottage for flats.
What 'QPR' wanted wasn't considered, because we were just a toy being thrown from one departing businessman to another.
Parker and Coney were certainly not the only playthings in consideration. |

I think they're both better technically than Smyth, Beckenham. I'm not sure even Smyth would contest that.
But being better technically alone doesn't make them better footballers. They've both been injured for huge amounts of this calendar year, they've both got but a handful of appearances for us, and we won't know if they're better footballers than Smyth until they are available for selection on a regular basis and, more importantly, producing on a regular basis better than he is now. |

I'm not a fan of 4-4-2 but I agree with what you're saying broadly. I think it's not just having a second striker, I think it's attacking in numbers.
I also agree that there are times that 442 leads to us being swamped, so felixibility is the key. |

I know, which is kind of hilarious!

Agree with the praise for RND. Having a fine season. Again, the fitness thing is an issue. Hard to know if that stops, or should stop a permanent move, though. |

IIRC we were watching Parker, Coney and Houghton for a long time but didn't close any deals. We missed out on Houghton, but when the merger collapsed we signed Parker and Coney because we still wanted them and Fulham needed money. |

Maybe you'll be right. But it's December.
And cult doesn't cut it. Only performances.
And being better so far than being very poor last year doesn't cut it either. |
