Only made one game this season, the home draw with Plymouth. Cracking game and a cracking day. Hoping to make more games next season. |

We've had a set piece coach before and I would view it as essential. Agree with Gus, though, that you can't have a coach reporting to the CEO, but not to the Head Coach on first team matters. If you're the Head Coach all First-Team Coaches should report to you on first team matters. This line from Gus nails it imo: "What if the Head of Seat Pieces, in the defensive situation, wants to leave two up top to launch the quick counter, while the manager wants all back to block runners as the keeper is glued to the line?" |

I think that's very fair, and I think it's valid. |

All very true, Mart. Just off the phone with another poster and we were saying the same thing about the overall PR war. It takes a certain kind of arrogance to think that football fans can be fooled with such amateurish and childish nonsense and spin. The worst thing is that it once again calls into question the poor judgement and inexperience of the CEO. |

It could, agreed. Or it could be part of the ongoing PR war. I think we have to give individual posters the benefit of the doubt, though. |

Laughed when I read "There’s a bit of stability creeping in". Sorry, Charlie, I agree with very little of what you've said. But that's ok too. |

I think players can turn around form, can improve execution, can recover technique, or composure. I'm just wary of players who display poor work-rate and/or poor aggression. I think it's very hard for such players to change their mentality in the long-term. They always seem to revert to type again after a while. But we have to hope, and I hope he can turn it around, naturally. Or I hope he already has. Apart from anything else, he's probably going to be here one way or the other, so we have to support him. I'm just wary! |

I'd find it very hard to trust Madsen for another season, Nix. He's definitely playing much better these last five or six games but it's hard to forget the laziness and hiding he produced for most of the season. |

How is it a controlled positive announcement, when the club doesn't tell it's members that ihe club captain is staying on, and instead he has to hint at it on social media? |

Good, then. |

Gazza, There's been loads of praise for both. |

Agree with Aston and QPunkR, We already have a CEO who has one year of experience (on our watch) and/who also is a DOF who has one year of experience (on our watch) and to now even think about giving our most important Managerial position to someone who is a novice as a Manager would be incredibly risky. |
