Been wondering this myself too. Cheers for the link, that’s great news

A bit of history today
at 12:22 11 Dec 2025

Mike Lewis is still around. He’s been a presenter on Radio Tircoed (now re-branded as Welsh Coast Radio). I think he still does a bit up there.
I was a presenter on that station myself between 2008 & 2016, & I had dealings with him in my time there. Will leave it at that.

Any chance we can get him on loan? Asking for a friend…

Swansea City v Oxford United : Match day thread
at 17:51 6 Dec 2025

I agree with this, although what I would add to that is if we win 1-0 with a goal off someone’s backside, it’s still the 3 points, & although obviously we have a lot to improve on, even a scruffy win could be the start of a decent run which may see us move up the table. Also in Tymon’s case with the goal, it might encourage others to shoot instead of fannying about with it in the final third, especially with the likes of Tymon, Vipi & Galbraith, who all have a decent shot on them.
Obviously lots to improve on, but small signs today that we can be better than we have been.

Finally the nonsense about Root can stop. Very useful last wicket partnership there as well , & we’re in the game just about

This all day long, particularly Ronald.
It’s bordering on embarrassing the way he goes down looking for free kicks with little or no contact.
I know a lot of players do it, but it’s not as if we’re particularly dangerous from attacking set pieces!
I’ll support the players of my team as much as humanly possible, but I’m with you. When you see his utter crap game in, game out, then collecting his however many thousands of pounds a week, then you do struggle to keep the faith.
Nothing I’d love more than for him & the rest of the team to prove me wrong, but I can’t see it happening

Captain choice from the stands?

Looking at this team, it’s pretty clear to me that we haven’t signed our captain yet

Why is Vitor still on his own ? Defensive insights in Swans collapse at West Bro
at 21:35 30 Nov 2025

This. Particularly Ronald. Weak as p**s on the ball, forever looking for the free kick instead of trying to take on his man. Waste of a shirt in my opinion, & if the rumour is true that premier league teams are looking at him (which I highly doubt), then I’d gladly drive him to any one of them myself.
I know he’s not the only one underperforming, but he’s that bad, even our full backs could defend against him with their eyes closed.

Not a huge surprise, but Woody is out of this one. If we could just get that win I really think the Aussies are beatable, especially without Cummins & Hazlewood & potentially Lyon.
My head still telling me 4/5-0 though lol

Wasn’t that the one in the orange kit? Pretty sure we were one down, & I think Danny Graham got the winner from memory.
Great times those

4/5-0 incoming. Same thing every time down under. Hope I’m wrong of course, but with Cummins and Hazelwood to come back for the Aussies, it’s going to be a long, long series.

Anyone up for Russell Martin 2.0
at 09:12 18 Nov 2025

We drew & lost matches against some extremely average teams under his stewardship and because of his tactics, plus I don’t fancy us needing 45-50 passes just to get to the half way line, so no thank you, all day, every day and thrice on Sundays.

Yes I was thinking the same. Thought it would be a bit more than that considering the success he’s had out there.
I know it’s a gamble, as all managerial appointments are, but I’m quite excited about this guy, & I hope we get him.

I like your optimism 😂. Even we beat them in the cup 5-1 during that period as well I think.
Heady days lol

The red flags for this season were clearly there during pre season. Apart from the odd exception, it’s the same performance in every game, & the wins we’ve picked up have been against teams that are really struggling, including those cup games where we laboured to beat Crawley & a very, very poor Plymouth side.
I don’t think this squad are anywhere near top 6, but I do believe that we should be seeing better than this. Even this time last year we were doing better than this before LW started flirting with WBA. And look how that turned out.
No signs of progress whatsoever, & as much as I, and I think most of us like Sheehan, he needs to be replaced by someone with some experience at this level, because at the moment we are so easy to set up & play against, & it’s now starting to become embarrassing.
Another season completely wasted.

Sorry, my fat fingers downvoted by accident. I totally agree in as much as I’d much rather be creating chances & missing them, than not creating anything at all, which has been the case a lot this season. Obviously it’s frustrating not to be taking chances, but you get my point

Good point away from home off the back of a win last Saturday, & after putting in a huge shift on Wednesday. At least we weren’t as dire as the last away game at Southampton, & we needed something today with PNE coming up in the week. All in all, decent result, especially against a team managed by rat boy

Always came across as a nice guy. My abiding memory of him was after he managed us, he was a co-commentator on Radio Wales, & when commentating on the swans, he always struggled with Angel Rangel’s name. He used to pronounce it Ankle Rankle, or something like that. Me & the misses always found that amusing.
He’ll be sadly missed. RIP Colin

Coventry Boxing Day

Went up there last season, & I’m pretty sure it wasn’t more than £30. How we are classed as Cat A+ is nothing other than the fact that we’re playing there on Boxing Day. Bit of a p** take if you ask me
