The dragon is facing the wrong way for starters. You think they’d have the intelligence at least to avoid such a rudimentary error. |

There has to be some sort of discrimination issue with this. Where are all the human rights lawyers when we actually need them? |

Yep. His legal name is Jones. That is what appears on all official documents, birth certificate, registration etc. Not sure why he’s pretending it isn’t. Jones is surely Welsh enough. |

The big losers are Celtic who have spent millions on centre backs when they had this gem sitting on the bench the whole time. |

He went by the name ‘Ron’ during his broadcasting career and was always known as Ron by his friends and family for many many years. And Jones is his legal name whether he likes it or not. It really comes to something when the name Jones isn’t Welsh enough for him. People often criticise Yaxley Lennon for using a pseudonym that sounds more British and working class, fake names should be called out across the board if that’s the case. |

We had very good sides under both potter and cooper but there wasn’t a lot of depth outside the first XI. We seem to have a much stronger squad this year, we can make five subs and it has often strengthened us, not weakened us like in previous years but as others have said it’s very early days. |

We were also helped by the fact we still had an extraordinary manufacturing/production output in those days and could replace damaged planes/equipment at over three times the speed of the Germans. I’ve often said if war came to us again these days we’d be a sitting duck since we import nearly everything we desperately need and aren’t self sufficient in anything. A service based economy is never winning any wars. |

It went the other way too. Without the British and her empires support the US would have struggled against Japan. The campaigns in Burma and places like that tied up hundreds of thousands of Japanese soldiers. Also without the British the Americans wouldn’t have had vital technology like radar, and the science that led to the Manhattan Project basically started in Birmingham University (ironically by a German and an Austrian). Without this vital support the war would have gone on for several more years and many more millions would have died. |

Considering the airbase is entirely US run presumably its security falls within the remit of US forces. If they feel they cannot protect an asset buried deep in the rural English countryside to the point where they have to evacuate all hardware then there must be a serious threat in the background. |

Been playing with ten men since he’s come on. I’ve honestly never seen such an ineffective player at international level. They’d be better off plucking someone out of the crowd to play up front. |

Whittaker premier league talent but national league attitude. |

Because he barely ever played for us? |

They did a “loan watch” article on the official website the other day and Walta was mentioned last even below the u-18’s that have gone out. |

Releasing them could be a ploy, watch them closely, where they go, what they do, who they speak to. They won’t be able to fart without MI6 analysing it to see what they had for breakfast. |

From where I live I would probably have to catch 3 or 4 buses to get to Morriston hospital. It would take hours. It’s probably a 15 minute drive by car. It’s all well and good for them to say use public transport but when public transport is unbelievably shite (and getting more expensive all the time) it’s not a remotely viable option for 95% of the country. But then these politicians often forget that there is a country outside the M25 that they are also responsible for. |

I’ve been making this point for years, in many cases over half of what you pay at the pump is tax. The government bang on about cost of living but they have this one simple fix that they always conveniently ignore. They could make peoples lives easier overnight. It’s all well and good telling people to use public transport in places like London where there are incredibly good transport link, but the reality for the vast majority of the country is that getting to work by car is literally the only option. |

Think Matos prefers physical players and Walta is only about four foot six. It’s a shame because from what I’ve seen of him he has a ridiculous amount of quality and could be great here but it’s hard to argue with Matos when we’re top of the league and winning most of our games. |
