I don’t think a public apology is enough for that level of personal abuse.

I don’t even bother watching a lot of the live games now. There are too many live games on now.Maybe I’ll watch a few more crunch games towards the end of the season, but most are just boring now.

Only if the player causing the injury receives a yellow or red card. But I still think it’s up to the referee’s discretion.
But as loftboy said, how can he give us a free kick in the wrong place?

When I look at our subs bench this season it looks so much stronger than a couple of seasons ago, when we were forced to have some of the U18 team on the bench.
Unfortunately it’s when they enter the field of play that we can all see that they’re not as strong as some of us thought.
And what happens if we don’t win these supposedly winnable home games against two of our bogey sides?
I can settle for players performing badly, but not for players phoning in performances that we’ve all seen sometimes this season especially.

We now have two home games on the bounce so we should get 6 points by your logic?Hull won at Middlesbrough after playing away at Sheffield Wednesday on Friday.
I think it was a extra game that nobody needed to play, but it will probably only be the losing teams that complain.

West Ham tickets
at 09:57 29 Dec 2025

Unfortunately there are still a few grounds like that Terry, including our own away end.Even the Stan Bowles stand isn’t the best, although I haven’t been in there for a few years.
My 1st trip to Upton Park was in the league cup game in 1976,and I was given the same warning in the chicken run.The peanuts thrown at me tasted ok on the district line train home though.

Ticket for West Brom?

There are still a few left on qpr.co.uk.Not many though so it’s another good turnout for a Monday night game.
I can’t believe we’ve sold over 2,500 tickets for wba on a Monday night.Superb effort.

There weren’t many Aussies in the crowd at the MCG after day 2 in 2017.I appreciate that some had to work, but a lot of them only turn up to see their team winning rather than getting beaten,as they were on that occasion. If only we had a plan to get Steve Smith we would’ve won that game too.

A mate of mine was out there for days 2&3 for this test now.A refund and a day spent drinking beer will have to do for him I guess.

There are worse places than Melbourne to spend 2 spare days in.But I doubt cricket Australia will be happy about the lost revenue if it finishes in 3 days again.

And they sometimes played the same team on Boxing Day too.I remember we played on the 27th and 28th December in 1977.At home on the 27th and away to Ipswich the next day.
Sorry it was the 26th and 27th.

Don’t you have a few stairs to climb to get to the South Africa rd stand?Paddocks would be a better choice I reckon.

I did the last 3 Ashes tests in 2017-18,and it was a brilliant month spent watching cricket, drinking and just having a great time with like minded people. The only downside for me was on the Saturdays of the Melbourne and Sydney tests when a few youngsters turned up and started singing about German bombers and no surrender.
I guess they were expats who were there on their days off. Most of the genuine barmy army crowd didn’t come back for the afternoon sessions as they possibly knew what to expect.
It was a bucket list event for a lot of people who I traveled with, and I still meet up with a couple of them at QPR away games when we play against their teams.
Even though we lost the series 4-0,the 4th test at the MCG was one that we should’ve won but for steve bloody smith’s knock again.

I’ve since travelled solo to New Zealand and India to watch England play, and I hope to go to a few other countries in the future, but I’m not sure I’d want to go back to watch another Ashes test in Oz again.Even the thought of Christmas in Melbourne wearing shorts and t-shirts doesn’t float my boat as much now that I’ve done it.But I did have a good time and met several other QPR fans out there.
