Season ticket sales.

The guy in the row behind us only appeared for 2 home games last season,so that worked out at £155 a game, assuming he an oap.He wasn’t at many the season before either.

Especially as 3 blocks are for Brentford fans.Surely they have to open up more of the ground for a final?

You’re lucky to be able to use a Q on your number plates over there. The best we can manage is OPR with a bit of tape or the screw to make it look like a Q.
The one I had was PG04 OPR but I sold the car before I transferred the number plates and the person scrapped the car.The number plate went with it.

At least we know that Luton won’t be his next club.Unless those three fingers he held up to their fans meant that he wanted a 3 year deal.

If the politician’s adult children were put in service and told that they’d be in the front line of any war, there wouldn’t be any more wars, but all the time they’re sending other people’s children it will continue.
My grandfather fought in WW1 and my uncle was killed in the assault on Italy in 1944.My father joined up as soon as he was 18 in April 1944,and was sent to Europe after training, but we never asked him the questions that we should’ve done when he was still alive and he never talked about his experiences.
They were a real golden generation who fought a war against a tyrant, and should always be remembered.Luckily most of us have never had to fight in the same circumstances thanks to their sacrifices.

Severe facet joint degeneration L5 - S1
at 16:38 7 May 2025

I had a problem with a facet joint after a accident on a train 25 years ago.I was in a lot of pain, and I tried the injection route, which was supposed to kill the pain for 6 months.I didn’t feel any less pain than before,so I only had the injections once.
Mine was only the result of an accident though,so I can’t say whether they would work for a degenerative condition.I get the occasional twinge even now,but that is normally cured by stretching exercises and rest.
22k compensation from train company helped to ease the pain a little, until the b@stard post office took £6k back for sick pay.
Good luck to the OP with his condition.

Luckily Watford bring that average down a bit or it would probably be over a year.

A couple of your favourite games 24/25
at 04:40 6 May 2025

Preston away has to be up there, especially for that injury time winner from Jesus on Good Friday.I’m torn between Norwich or Watford at home. Both wins, but under different circumstances.
Getting picked up at 7.30 on New Year’s Day by loftboy after only a couple of hours sleep probably swings it for me because of the effort to get there, but it’s a long time since I’ve been as cold and wet as I was that day.
The Norwich game was special too though because of the way they imploded, but as I can only pick two it has to be Preston and Watford.
Did you ever find an owner for those keys Clive,or are you still trying them in every door in London?

And Gateshead miss out on the playoffs again.1600 Southend fans travelled up there today to see their winner takes all clash, and it ended 0-0.

Extended highlights Sunderland 0 QPR 1
at 17:05 5 May 2025

That’s a bit harsh mate.It still needed finishing and from high up in the gods,it was a good finish.
I haven’t been his greatest fan since he arrived, but he got us the 3pts on Saturday with our only shot on target and that’s good enough for me.

To those who went to Sunderland yesterday

There were a few anti Marti chants going around and a few inflatable snakes being thrown around.
I didn’t see many players making a special effort to say goodbye, but we were a long way away from them.
Good atmosphere though and I’m glad we made the journey. Some good banter with the locals before and after the game with no trouble that I saw. Some good fans amongst their crowd and it would be a shame to lose a great away day if they get promoted, which most of their fans are dreading if it happens.

The last time QPR lost their last away game of the season was Leeds in 2018.Since then we’ve won at Stoke twice,Sheffield Wednesday,Swansea and Coventry. We also drew at WBA.
