So was hellberg but im sure his compo wasnt that big.
It’s hard to gauge. His contract was two years at Maritimo and won’t have been a lot of money. It’s easy for a club to insert a release clause in contract negotiations. His salary won’t be anywhere near Hellberg who also had a release clause but that hasn’t been disclosed from what I can see.
He is very much a cheaper option, will settle for a far lower contract at Swansea than Sheehan and O’Dea. Not saying he has. Not sure how that works if O’Dea stays and Matos is the boss. However, the bonuses as we have always pointed out will be big. Not cheap this managerial jumping about game.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
It’s a real pity that we kept Sheehans and dumped Montague. He had the know how we are now sorely lacking. If this goes tits up there will be some serious pain in the corridors of power. Sheehans compo, this guys release clause and if sacked his own compo will be a lot of money wasted and us maybe down a league.
I really hope it works though and he’s successful a rough diamond and all that.

It’s always a gamble, but at least Matos has lived in the UK and has been around British football, Will Still came to Southampton with a big reputation but struggled and got sacked pretty quickly, others have come in and done ok though relatively unknown Only time will tell Fingers crossed, whoever we appoint gets us playing the way we’re capable of and we’ll be fine
I read Carricks wages would be too much 1 m euros would go towards it as he is a free agent right now
They didn’t fancy him.
Just like Russ, was never going to happen. And his salary demands over three years if the Swans matched his time at Boro be around 4.5M. And Thats just for starters not Inc his staff and bonuses. Complete no go.

Thanks My point stands about paying so much compensation I’ve no idea why they would prefer an ingenue to a proven experienced Zbritish manager Still, we hope Just popping in testing the waters again

Being out of work you'd think he bring them down a tad
They make us feel indebted
For saving us from hell
And then they put us through it
It's time the bastards fell

Any idea roughly what we pay a head coach £4-5K a week or am I way off.
Hell of a gamble. He has never pulled up any trees. Never played the game. But, you never know.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
