I think the big difference - manager aside - is the fact that we now have several players whose first instinct is to go forward when they receive the ball

Totally agree grumpy. I have not enjoyed watching Saints this much for a long time (I was spoiled by the Lawrie McMenemy days). I went to Millwall last week and we lost and Millwall were the better team overall but we still played and never gave up. I don't think we are good enough for promotion automatically but I am not bothered really. It is just refreshing to enjoy the football again. | | | |

If we can keep winning and I see no reason why not, then we will be good for the play offs, we are only 4 points off the 4th spot we got two years ago.
