| John Lennon on 16:43 - Dec 8 with 646 views | NYC_Saint | I live near his building and walked past the Straberry fields memorial to him walking my dog on Saturday morning. Despite the weather it was heaving with people and tons of flowers being laid. It's nice so many respect his legacy still. | | | |

I think it is possible, depending on George's mood at the time I was 7 when Lennon died and learned about it on John Craven's Newsround, and my sister telling me about Lennon's life &The Beatles [Post edited 8 Dec 18:37]

| John Lennon on 18:30 - Dec 8 with 558 views | HytheFerrytales | I was working at BP in Moorgate at the time. It was nearly my last day there. When we heard (a.m. the 9th) four of us decided a couple of scoops at lunchtime would be in order...funny to think, but we were actually quite shaken up by the news. Fast forward 3 hours and we had the whole of Davys wine bar singing his songs at max decibels whilst pummelling Old Wallop and ,later, Tawney Port ( don't ask me why..we never had before ). Next morning we were met with a stony silence and summoned into the managers office. His PA read the rap sheet...like idiots we had returned to the office after the impromptu wake...schoolboy error. 1. 2 wpb's containing traces of vomit 2. new stains on carpet of indeterminate nature 3. porno mag left on desk 4. inappropriate remarks made to both male and female staff on the reception desk when leaving the building Luckily our manager and the reception guys turned out to be Lennon geeks too and we had a lunch to apologise profusely, reminisce and celebrate our continued employment. Great man...Icon...Legend. | | | |

I was working in well services for an American company, Dowell Schlumberger on a drilling rig in the Indonesian rain forest on the island of Borneo (now Kalimantan). I went up to the radio shack just before 6am for a morning coffee and to listen to the BBC World Service news - and couldn't really believe what I heard.

Chapman was an MK ultra patsy, obviously. No fan kills their hero. The Deep state on the other hand.........
| I wholly disapprove of what you say and will defend to the death your right to say it. |

| John Lennon on 05:39 - Dec 9 with 306 views | kernow | Think he means that John Lennon was the victim of a political assassination. He was too influential, therefore dangerous. When I heard about it , loading a cargo of timber, in a miserable, cold, communist Poland, I was totally gutted. | | | |

You clearly haven’t read anything about Chapman and the case. Chapman is an assessed sociopath. Nothing else. No deep state conspiracy just a lunatic who shot someone he had become obsessed with. He’s not been released due to his mental illness and potential dangers to himself and others. This one’s not quite up there with your fish just don’t jump out of the water dismissal of evolution theory.

Oh Heisy, you are good on zionism, but allow yourself to get mugged by the establishment over the comical theory of evolution and the never ending supply of mad, lone gunmen to take out loud mouths doing "wrongspeak".

I have to say I was thrown by your phrase "MK Ultras Patsy" Like the idiot people say I am, I took it to be suggesting he was an MK Dons fan. That would at least explain why he was deranged.
| John Lennon on 08:25 - Dec 9 with 209 views | Tonyfromdk | I was 13 at the time. Just about to step out the car after being dropped off at school. I remember a lot of teachers being upset and just giving us something to do which didn’t require teaching. The worst thing was an interview Chapmen did after, just casually talking about how he’d murdered the best song writer of all time | | | |
