| January Transfer Rumours on 10:07 - Dec 3 by onehunglow | It might be down to how he trains Apparently Heās worth a go surely We need change We need energy He was brought in to give us this |
Or it could be a lack of self discipline as shown when he was sent off.

Heās got very little positional discipline and he plays with his head down, which means he often isnāt aware of where teammates and opponents are. Consequently, he loses the ball cheaply, sometimes deep in our half. But heās also got incredible desire and intensity. Heās quick, heās aggressive and conversely to the point above, heās very likely to win the ball in dangerous areas. He wins 30/70s, let alone 50/50s. Heās literally just raw, but he has huge potential. Matosā ideology will be perfect for him as long as he has the discipline to āhunt with the packā.

If we were higher in the table then ok but Iām not sure āraw with potentialā is exactly what we need at this point in time.

Weāre desperately lacking spark and intensity. Iām not sure Iād be starting him, but Iād certainly be using him a lot from the bench. When most opponents bring subs on, they impact the game. Ours donāt usually make much difference. Heās the type that would.

Good reply Frankly, heās no different to most then Our right back has zero positional discipline yet heās perma picked no shatter what He loses the ball almost every time unless he passes it back He canāt be any worse than what we have Same applies to Wales Raw? Iād have that if it means our current team is cooked

Despite me often criticising Whittaker and Obafemi, the ex player I dislike the most is Conor Hourihane, because he had a lot of ability, but played like he couldnāt care less. I may be wrong, but Benson gives me similar vibes.

Agreed but players like Yalcouye or even Ronald, Eom and Innoussa can all to differing standards add some spark but they need to be played the ball to run onto at speed. Our game has to fundamentally change do that players like these receivers the ball in as much space as possible snd importantly, in the move not static. Matis has to get us more fluid before these players will have the impact they are capable of.

The difference between Yalcouye and those three is he can win possession in the opponents half and go at them quickly while their defence isnāt set. Heās not that great on the ball, but heās fantastic at disrupting and winning it. He has his faults, but heās much less reliant on being played in than our wingers.
| January Transfer Rumours on 21:40 - Dec 3 with 1090 views | GVJack | I think Yalcoure could thrive under Matos tactics of high energy/high press. He won't stop running and has more quality than Cullen who has a similar desire to challenge and win the ball back. Agree with a previous poster that our right side looks weak and should be the main focus in January along with another experienced CB to put more pressure on Cabango and Burgess. | | | |

Teams target our right side Obviously Weāve denied this It looks like Matos has seen this after barely more than a week This is what objectivity brings and frankly Iām Rather enthused as to what Vitor might do He might not, we donāt know But , yesterday saw emotion we havenāt seen in months and sport is all about this But Matos , at this moment, seems very articulate Hoping

I think we just need to get back to basics, let the CBās do the basic stuff clearing the ball ,dealing with high balls and let the midfielders play the ball on the floor, thatās what teams do to us effectively, yesterday we were much better not arsing about at the back and getting it forward quicker

Oxford. Haven't played WBA yet, then two will come along at once!
