It’s definitely one of the two. If only we could have Sianie every week. She’s always been one of the good ones.

Corruption 100% worse, incompetence you can work on to improve but you need the means to identify shortcomings and supportive action reward the improvement. The question in my mind is if a referee tested positive after a game what happens to the result?
| Swansea City : There simply is no fairness in football or accountability on 14:31 - Dec 28 with 1438 views | howenjack | Kitching the Cov player kicked the ball away deliberately delaying a free kick. Wasn't even booked . Same thing happened earlier in the day at St Andrews the Derby player was immediately shown a yellow card. Later on in that game that same Derby player committed a foul and was then sent off for a second yellow . That ultimately cost Derby the 3 points because they then had to play the vast majority of the game with 10 men - Brum later equalising . | | | |
| Swansea City : There simply is no fairness in football or accountability on 14:37 - Dec 28 with 1410 views | wwcigne | The decisions I’ve seen by referees this season are unfathomable , what Ronald and Franco have been doing is awful but Coventry had players flopping around with barely any contact all game and Alison just gave them everything , I said before the game they’d be cynical and they were, but he continually let them off , as has been stated he’s not been the only Ref to show blatant favouritism against the Swans this season, how can we complain about it because we should be able to I know refs have a tough job but being impartial isn’t that hard ,unless you have an ulterior motive of course | | | |
| Swansea City : There simply is no fairness in football or accountability on 14:53 - Dec 28 with 1375 views | Whiterockin | When we were in the Premier League I can remember match of the day doing a piece on the number of decisions going against us and confirmed it was not imaginary. If we had VAR when we were there I honestly think we would not have been relegated when we did. | | | |

It was obvious to everybody what was going on I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

I remember the ghost penalty given against us, but can't remember who the ref was might have been antony Taylor or Madeley, give the opposition a penalty for a raised hand handling the ball and it was clearly handled by a player with a short sleeved shirt on and none of the Swans players were wearing short sleeves, incredible decision.

Sam vokes tried to punch the ball in Maradona style and the ref gave a penalty to them.

I thought that penalty levelled the game at 3-3. A travesty if ever there was one. My memory maybe letting me down as well though.

| Swansea City : There simply is no fairness in football or accountability on 04:09 - Dec 29 with 821 views | ncswan | As fans of the game, what can we do? Not a damn thing! We should hope it's incompetence but not if I were the PGMOL office, since the ultimate blame would be on them for hiring/promoting incompetent boobs. If it's corruption such as bias, or worse, then that would give PGMOL reason to punish the individual. If I were an aggrieved owner/top manager and felt cheated, then I would assemble a video collection of the suspected biased calls or no-calls and first send them to the Championship officials, PGMOL and ask for a response, & force their hands to decide which way they want it made known publicly, incompetence or corruption. I would make sure I had enough camera angles to capture such incidents in order to clean up this crap. | | | |

Bidwell body checked a player 3-4 times , nothing, not evena finger wagging. Foul on Galbraith in the corner 2nd half nowt,, nearly the same foul by Inoussa , booking, Ball hit the ref from a swans player.......ball given to Blues. their goal, throw taken 8-10 from where it went into touch , ignored by ref and linesman. The standard of referring in the PL is one of the reasons I very rarely watch a match, when even taking into account a certain amount of interpretation of the laws by a ref simple black and white decisions are ignored .I used to laugh when people would cream themselves over performances by the likes of Collina when in fact all he was doing what he was paid to do follow and enact the laws of the game.

Wasn't that the one where 5 foot 5 inch Routledge was standing behind their 6 foot two centre half and somehow the ref saw a handball (which he couldn't have seen firstly because he can't see through a person's body and secondly because Routledge didn't handle the ball).

If the Bidwell incident happened anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul, shocking decision. Unfortunately, these incompetent officials suffer little redress for their actions, and it’s more than obvious they have no understanding of the game.

You want to see what Madeley did in the Newport v Tranmere play off final at Wembley. Blatant at its most obvious. How he wasn’t investigated after that game I never know.
