I can't see this blowing over with a happy outcome so looking forward. Who works you like to see take the helm?

Options could be...

Gary O'Neill
Russell Martin
Liam Rosenior
Steve Cooper
Will Still

Agreed. Also obviously Nourry will want to make some kind of left-field analytics driven appointment that nobody was expecting to prove he's far more clever than everyone else so it'll likely be someone we've never heard of.

To be fair if it were him that found Marti in the first place he got that one very right so maybe lightning can strike twice.

It wasn't.

But was it Andy Belk? Assume he might have some input into what comes next?

If we need someone a bit trendy and capable of turning sht into, not gold but at least tin or copper then I’d be sniffing around the Plymouth manager. Saw Ryan Mason touted who as far as I can tell is only in the position he is because he unfortunately got his head caved in.

Nigel Pearson.

Ok, so he would only last about a month but not before he’d thumped Nourry from the Bush to Hammersmith and stuck his laptop up his arse.

But it doesn’t matter, does it? Not when you’ve got someone above you making signings like we have this season.

Bless all of you going to Sunderland, btw.

I need a SAGA. What’s the SAGA? It’s ….. Queen’s Park Rangers.

Rumours that Christian has spent the last few weeks bunkered down in his office running FM24 sims through to 2027 to see which manager pops his club up unexpectedly in the CL are as yet unsubstantiated…

Wasn’t we linked with Gregory Vignal before Christmas?
I have this really bad feeling it’s going to be someone like him

We were linked with Vignal by a site connected to Nourry's company PP. imo, it's nailed on to be him.

Just seen this posted by a Swedish fan on Facebook:

I think Marti is a great manager, but as a Swede, following his career in Scandi, I’m not surprised. He never stays long, he’s constantly looking for the next step.
My top name for our new manager would be KIM HELLBERG, the current manager at Hammarby, the same club we found Marti in.
He is, frankly, a better alternative:
* Just as experienced as Marti but much younger.
* He plays a more effective high-energy football.
* He’s had better results in Hammarby than Marti (with a much younger squad).
* Great man-management, great developer. Since Marti left Hammarby Kim has managed to turn a bunch of Marti’s rejects (benched or loaned out) into some of the best players in the Swedish league (Tekie, Vagic, Toure).
* Sold players for much more money than Marti.
* More well-liked and in tune with the fans (Kim himself used to be with the ultras in IFK Norrköping as a kid).

Some people on Facebook calling for a reconciliation with Beale.

Pierre Sage is being linked, had never heard of him until this morning

I think it will all depend on how this plays out with Marti, if it ends up costing us a lot of money I think Nourry might be out the door as well

Was second in command at French side Versailles a club in the 3rd tier of French football then took over as head coach but was sacked after 10 games in November….not getting over excited of the prospect of this guy managing us.

The Vignal link was a pretty amateurish attempt by Nourry to gauge the fans’ temperature for sacking Cifuentes.

Pretty sure Vignal was just at that game because he knows Regis Le Bris and Nourry has nothing to do with that website anymore

Heard Sean Derry on Talksport today slagging off MC and endorsing the rumours that he had been looking for jobs at bigger clubs for nearly a year. He also supported the current owners etc. so it would be no surprise if it was to be a Gary O'Neil + Sean Derry management team. I would be happy with that but prefer Rosenoir.

New Manager needs to be able to develop talent and bring through young players with the intention of selling on and be content to work in an environment which is heavily data driven and involves multiple people as part of the recruitment process.

Personally, I think the basket case that is us, means we need a character, somebody with personality. A Potter type just wouldn't work for us. We either need someone with links to the club or someone with ego and who can inspire, as Warnock managed. But that's at odds with the 'game model'.

I would quite like to get Kevin Betsy more involved, impressed with some of his work in developing younger talent, but with a more experienced head in charge. Similar to when we had Warbs and Eustace.
