iMO Just did the predictor thing , if we lose all our games and the teams below us win all their home games , draw all their away games ,with draws if they play each other … we still stay up on goal difference..
The stats lads at Opta agree (as do I). They give us a 99.98% chance of staying up.
Felt very hairy after Stoke but much like the boro game in November that seems like a bit of another turning point. Since then conceded very few chances and gone back to what worked through the winter.
I think this seals it . 5 left . Preston and Swansea in Mykonos . Sunderland already in the play offs. Burnley and Brizzle , the big tests . We’ve got some players getting fit again and Frankly , just put Morrison out there on his own . He’s never lost . My stress levels have fallen to a safe level again. It’s not good for your health.
I think that’s us safe. Would mean Cardiff getting 8pts and Luton 10pts from their last 5 matches to catch us, very unlikely. At the very most one more draw would do it.
Said it all along, never in trouble, got too many good things about the players and management team.......as I have also said, injuries have killed us.
