Expect to see a new Manager appointed this week, discussions would have already been held with many of the players and decisions will be finalised after the new Manager get appointed. The new Manager must have, and will have, major input into the player situation.

I can see it now, a manager who’s managed only in France hai whole career, stating that he simply won’t join the club unless Sam Field extends his four year deal.
I think it very unlikely the new manager will have any say over player recruitment and retention. That system has failed us before.

Yep agreed. Have it on reasonably good authority that an announcement dump is coming .

Can I play Devil's Advocate. Do we really need another diminutive winger? If we do, why not Emmerson Sutton, who's been with us for years and was courted (allegedly) by a number of PL clubs.
Signing Saito could well block Suton's progress. Sure, Koki has shown he can provide a threat going forward, without ignoring the defensive side of the game, like Dembele. And he plays with a smile on his face.
With limited resources is Saito the best use of our money? Or do we look to move on one of the others, Smyth, Chair, Dembele?
My jury was out on Saito but I’m in favour of signing him for sure. Busy, got a bit of pace and, although get’s caught out on the physicality side, he doesn’t give up.
If there was a straight choice then I’d be saying goodbye to Dembele. Didn’t rate him last season after the Plymouth home game and looks like a bit of a sick note
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

The decision on Lucas is contingent on transplanting two new legs on to his body.
Bet you weren't complaining about his legs when he boomed one in at Preston? He's 30 for goodness sake. Yes his form dipped last season after a long- term injury , but he was not alone in that. To say his legs are 'gone' is absurd. I hope we keep him for at least one more year.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

If Sutton really was interesting PL clubs he'd already be gone.

I bet the main announcement is going to be about a breakthrough with regards to the water pressure in the bogs.
I look forward to seeing how Nourry's AI software articulates that news.

And here is Nourry's long awaited bog water pressure announcement...
The hydro-sanitation vector propulsion matrix has been successfully recalibrated to optimal PSI throughput. The lavatory's aqueous vortex injection module now operates within ISO-certified splash-dampening tolerances, restoring full flush-loop functionality to the biomechanical waste redistribution portal. No further plumbotronic oscillations detected in the aqua-flux stabilization conduit, and all dripstream telemetry reads nominal.
