No surprise ours was the only boring, drab, goalless 0-0 game in the whole Championship this afternoon.
5 league games in a row without a win now. We're going nowhere and, if we're all honest with ourselves, we know we're simply not good enough. The January window isn't going to help either. TE appears to be in a place where he doesn't have any ideas on how to fix things. He needs an experienced assistant beside him. I'm not blaming him entirely. He's a young bloke with little experience who's been thrown into the deep end with no lifejacket. Whilst the players themselves should shoulder a lot of the blame, TE needs a helping hand & Sport Republic should appoint a right-hand man who's been there, seen it & got the t-shirt.

Oh for the life of me, what has become of the club and team that I used to love and admire and be proud of for so long because it had the nouse and passion and desire to mix with the best and give them a bl**dy nose and now for season after season we seem to have and buy players who appear to have so little nouse and desire or passion no matter what level they are playing at.

Nothing much to add this week. Other than it was same old same old, slow, predictable build and nothing to show for it.
Had it not been for a top save by Bazunu and a shot that only just went over at the end, we would have lost this.
Is TE insisting we play this way or are the players just doing what they want and ignoring TE ? Either way, something has changed since TE's first 6 games ? [Post edited 1 Jan 17:30]

It wouldn't surprise me at all that the players decided how to play during the early winning spell while Eckert was still just covering the job then when he was confirmed in the job he decided to start doing it his own (shite) way.

Surely the players are not such coonts that they would suddenly stop playing exciting attacking winning football and serve up that performance instead

It was such a relief when Will Still left and we started playing fast, fearless and forward football. It seemed we had our club back and it looked like suddenly anything was possible in this league, so for us to witness such mind numbing, boring, predicable football ever since, seems like the biggest act of betrayal, and various theories as to why have been aired.
We know these players can turn it on and can beat anyone, they've proved it, so what the he'll has happened? Whose pulling the strings?

A scapegoat to blame when it goes wrong, hence every manager fails. Sport Republic don't want anyone coming in and ripping up their ways, which is exactly what an experienced, strong manager would do. They want yes men, that's we keep getting them. And did you notice that Tonda's title is Head Coach not manager? Sport Republic will destroy this club and we will be just like Reading in league one with empty seats everywhere. It will just take a few seasons to happen, when the money runs out and then it will all be too late. | |

On the Sky Sports live coverage of the match today it had Tonda as " Interim Manager".
Have I missed something, I thought he'd been appointed as manager on 2 year contract.
