Lovely to win 2-1 with a last minute winner rather than a workmanlike 1-0 like it was looking, and fair play to Morgan for pulling through with the speculative shot that brought 3 points, but the manager has dropped a bollock and absolutely got away with one there.
The world and his wife could see the sub that needed to be made when Mbengue came off was Morrison, with Jimmy sliding to RB. Leaving their danger man Gray with the whole left wing for the remainder of the match was a suicidal move |

Not for me. He had a really good 2nd half, but was struggling in the first 45. RND was excellent throughout. Got tight to his man, physical enough and offered a fair bit going forward.

I thought Madsen was the Don tonight. Ran the show at times. I thought Varane's defensive work was superb too. It's taken a bit of time, but the manager has shown faith in these two together and I think it's starting to pay off. |  |

Best atmosphere at LR for a while, not just after the last second winner but throughout the second half. Chants and singing all around the ground. By contrast thought Brum fans were very quiet apart from the 30 seconds they were level 🤣 [Post edited 9 Dec 23:00]

Deserved that. Especially on 2nd half performance. We just wanted it more.
What impressed me was the pressing. We pressed as units. When Smyth went, Kone went to the back pass option and Varane or Madsen the in field ball option. The front two again working so hard across the line.
Great scenes at the end.
Hopefully Smyth OK for the weekend.

What a night at the old ground... ha ha that is twice we have done them in the last seconds of the game.....
The place was absolutely rocking at the end... I have to admit when they equalised I nearly stormed out the ground... it was only I could get out of the row lol... and we got that free kick ..... and the rest is history
A pretty scrappy first half... but what a 2nd half... though we had a lot of good performances tonight... Smyth was a constant menace... Saito had a decent game...
Dunne and Cook solid... but both full backs were tremendous.... and Mbengue never gave Gray a sniff
Won't argue the MOTM.... but for me it was Madsen... he was absolutely superb tonight... some of his passing and vision was head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch tonight...
And what an ending for Morgan... spent nigh on his whole time on the pitch getting roasted by Gray... to then score the winner.... absolutely delighted for the boy...
