Another great Nourry-influenced signing. Add Saito and the Aussie triumvirate. Yet, Pompey, on a smaller budget, can identify one very talented Aussie in Segecic, the same age as ours but is already championship capable. Can add Dembele and Varane to that list, for mine.

Yes he decided to move occasionally, challenge defenders, and also started to put the ball in the back of the net. That’s fking Gerd Muller-levels of competence compared to some of the dreck I’ve seen (see) playing up front for the Rs.

A little bit harsh - he scored two great goals against Cardiff, looked like he'd turned a corner, and then he got injured.
Most likely we'll never really find out if he's any good or not. |  |

Might it be worth using him as back up next season? He was starting to get the hang of it pre injury and it's not like we've got loads of options after kone, burrell and kolli. I agree with this, his two strikes v Cardiff were both high quality in very different ways and then the injury came at exactly the wrong time. But he certainly hasn’t measured up this season and we have moved on considerably in terms of strikers, so I guess they will try to off-load him during the summer. | | | |

Then he goes on loan and scores against no one else, as in no one. Despite people telling us that the injury prevented him from being the new messiah, but he failed to do it after the injury. So either he can only score for us now, or he's not good enough for anyone at this level, or even below.
Celar is not good enough for this level and possibly not even L1. He cannot head; he cannot trap a ball. If given time (which, apart from a few games, you never will have at this level), he can shoot well and that's it.
Think, even Bennie is better than him right now at this level, and Bennie probably won't make it. Lloyd is even better than Celar, and he cannot even make the team at Lincoln. True, at least they are decent.

He ay not have been good, but as you said, he scored goals inside (and from around) the 6 yard box. He didn't have a bad goals/games ratio either. Those attributes imo are good for a striker and QPR could certainly use one of those in the squad apart from Kone and Burrell. | | | |
