| He'll be back on 12:08 - Mar 5 with 3492 views | 7374Ranger | He will be sent back at the end of the German season. What happens after that is anyone's guess, but mine is that QPR will look to get him off the books by offering him a free transfer in the hope that another club will take him. He has been a disastrous signing and total waste of money. | | | |

Yet, Pompey, on a smaller budget, can identify one very talented Aussie in Segecic, the same age as ours but is already championship capable. Can add Dembele and Varane to that list, for mine. Clearly not going to recoup our outlays on Saito and Celar, that's for sure. Getting a great deal more than we paid for either Varane or Dembele doesn't seem likely, either.

There is a player there and he was just hitting some form before he got the injury. The reports from Germany are pretty crap but I can’t retrospectively change the opinion I had at the time. I thought a Madsen-style resurrection was possible.

thats what 3 million down the shitter . the form he was hitting was he decided to move occasionally a terrible player which didnt fit the style fo forward we wanted and made zero sense buying him and now we take a massive hit on him,

Yes he decided to move occasionally, challenge defenders, and also started to put the ball in the back of the net. That’s fking Gerd Muller-levels of competence compared to some of the dreck I’ve seen (see) playing up front for the Rs. Don’t wanna bang on though - Kone & Burrell (please be fit soon🙏🏼) the best combo I’ve seen up front in W12 for years.

never has a player been less intrested in playing football than celar he scored two goals and some thought its the second coming of chirst . and yes hopefully kone and burrell can carry on where they left off when both are fit , prob gonna be next season now though looking at the amount of strapping around kone leg each week

A little bit harsh - he scored two great goals against Cardiff, looked like he'd turned a corner, and then he got injured. Most likely we'll never really find out if he's any good or not.

| He'll be back on 20:32 - Mar 5 with 2377 views | queensparker | I honestly think Celar getting injured kept us up last season. After his double against Cardiff he’d have probably got another ten games doing the sum total of fk all. Season turning moment | | | |
| He'll be back on 23:32 - Mar 5 with 2150 views | plasmahoop | Might it be worth using him as back up next season? He was starting to get the hang of it pre injury and it's not like we've got loads of options after kone, burrell and kolli. And we had frey playing earlier in the season when he was well past it. Maybe not, but it could be better than throwing the money down the toilet | | | |

I agree with this, his two strikes v Cardiff were both high quality in very different ways and then the injury came at exactly the wrong time. But he certainly hasn’t measured up this season and we have moved on considerably in terms of strikers, so I guess they will try to off-load him during the summer.

I loved the second but I'd hardly call the first a quality strike. Seemed to slice it when he was trying to put his foot through it. I maybe being harsh though. In regards to Aussies there's about 30 players I'd have signed before Adamson. Not blowing my own trumpet but I called Riley Mcgree when he was at Adelaide and Aaron Mooy when he was at Western Sydney.

Well, you are blowing your own trumpet, mate 😆 I wonder if Celar could play off Kone, if other options aren't available. If we can't offload him, we have to try and integrate him.

| He'll be back on 12:18 - Mar 6 with 1400 views | LazyFan | Celar scored two good goals against a team that went down, because their defence was terrible all season long. So bad a Cardiff team that Celar can score two goals against them and nobody else. Then he goes on loan and scores against no one else, as in no one. Despite people telling us that the injury prevented him from being the new messiah, but he failed to do it after the injury. So either he can only score for us now, or he's not good enough for anyone at this level, or even below. Celar is not good enough for this level and possibly not even L1. He cannot head; he cannot trap a ball. If given time (which, apart from a few games, you never will have at this level), he can shoot well and that's it. Think, even Bennie is better than him right now at this level, and Bennie probably won't make it. Lloyd is even better than Celar, and he cannot even make the team at Lincoln. True, at least they are decent. Celar will be loaned out at a loss for the L1 team next season, whereby he will get a few goals but nothing special, at which point we shall realise he's barely that standard and for that money, no one will want him. It will be like Richards, mutual agreement and back to Eastern Europe. | |

Good? I'm not sure about good. He was definitely effective though. Incredible habit of scoring all his goals within the 6 yard box, my favourite of which was Jamal Blackman jumping into his own man and dropping the ball in front of Sylla who walked it into an empty net.

He ay not have been good, but as you said, he scored goals inside (and from around) the 6 yard box. He didn't have a bad goals/games ratio either. Those attributes imo are good for a striker and QPR could certainly use one of those in the squad apart from Kone and Burrell.
